The redshirt sophomore finished this past season averaging 12.4 points per game, which was an increase from 10.5 points as a freshman. Edwards was named the 2022-23 Atlantic 10 Rookie of the year in 2022-23.

This is the second time that Edwards is in the portal, having signed originally with Kansas State.

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

The 6’5″ guard role changed with George Washington this past season as he made 23 starts to begin the year, before coming off the bench for the final seven games.

Joyce and Duquesne will be busy this offseason as they look to replace a number of players from last season’s NCAA Tournament team, in particular star guards Dae Dae Grant and Jimmy Clark.

The staff has reached out to more than ten other transfers this cycle, including Adou Thiero, a local product.
