Pitt Football Gives Back to Local Community

Published

Pitt Day of Giving.

Pitt is about to wrap up its spring season, with the 2024 Blue-Gold Spring Game just a few hours away, but the Panthers spent all day Friday giving back to the community.

Friday was the annual Pitt Day of Giving, and as per usual, Pat Narduzzi had his coaches and players out all over the city.

The Panthers spent time Friday at the UPMC Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, the Boys and Girls Club, the Ronald McDonald House, the Ammons Rec Center, the Children’s Home and the Southwestern Veterans Home.

Pitt has taken advantage of NIL opportunities to give back to the local community, since the 2021 season with the likes of Kenny Pickett and Cal Adomitis and Tre Tipton, but Day of Service has always had a high turnout — even before the NIL days.
