Sunday’s Best Draftkings Bets: Pirates-Phillies, Battlehawks-Brahmas, Avalanche-Golden Knights

The under was able to cover in Pirates/Phillies as Philly walked it off in the 9th inning. The over covered in Showboats/Stallions as Birmingham took Memphis to the cleaners. As I’ve been saying multiple times over the past few months, the Stallions were easy money to win the UFL. Despite the Penguins losing in regulation for the first time in forever, the over did cover in a high scoring game. We moved to 248-188-3 on the year.
If you took some of my Masters picks, you probably wish you hadn’t at this point. The only guy that I gave out that has a shot is rookie Ludvig Aberg, who sits three shots behind Scottie Scheffler. Though Scheffler has been as good as he normally has been this year, he hasn’t delivered a knockout punch yet. He sits at -115, which is a decent bet in my opinion given over the last decade that the winner of the Masters has come from the final pairing 9 times. Collin Morikawa will be paired with Scheffler and he looked great yesterday.
I took Morikawa at +1500 before the start of his third round and he is all the way down to +350. The California native has two major championships under his belt with his first coming the pandemic PGA Championship in 2020. I made about $2k off that win. To be honest, you could bet both Scheffler and Morikawa today and come out on the other side with more money, thanks to profit boosts by Draftkings. It should be a fun end to the Masters.

The aces of each staff will matchup in the series finale in Philadelphia as Mitch Keller and Zack Wheeler take the mound. Keller looked a lot better in his start Monday at home than his two previous starts, maybe that was thanks to Joey Bart being the catcher. He should be the catcher again today.
Wheeler has looked excellent in his starts and is rightfully the NL Cy Young leader in terms of odds right now. I think both will pitch great today in Philly and the under will once again cover this afternoon.

The exciting action of the UFL continues today as the XFL division leading Brahmas host the Battlehawks. St. Louis was able to win on a last second field goal last week over the Renegades, who dropped to 0-3 yesterday in their loss to DC. San Antonio is riding high off their insane comeback at Memphis last Saturday.
So, who has the edge here? If the line was 3.5, I would be taking the Brahmas but it is at 3. Instead, I like the under to cover in the last UFL game of the weekend. This is one of the highest totals of the weekend and neither team will score enough to get it to that point.
