Monday’s Best Draftkings Bets: Predators-Penguins, Pirates-Mets, Padres-Brewers
We go perfect on Saturday then imperfect on Sunday, finishing 1-2. Vegas was able to comeback from a 3-0 deficit to win in overtime versus Colorado. The under could not cover in the Pirates game as Cutch’s 300th home run took that out of the equation. Congrats to Cutch. The under could also not cover in Battlehawks/Brahmas as St. Louis won a high scoring game. We moved to 249-190-3 on the year.
The NBA regular season has come to a close, and as we wait for the play-in games to start, let’s take a dive into some series lines. When you look at the West series, the sportsbooks think they are going to be tight, and I agree.
A series that is very important to me, Mavericks vs Clippers, has both teams listed to win this series on DraftKings at -110. This is probably the worst possible matchup for the Clippers, as the Mavs are one of the hottest teams in the league. Regrettably, I see Dallas moving on.
As for the Suns/Timberwolves series, you have a matchup of a team that failed to live up to expectations against a team that went way above expectations. The Suns just barely got out of the play-in format and have been disappointing all year, but they do face a Timberwolves team that they swept during the regular season. This one could go to a Game 7 in my opinion.

Nashville Predators at Pittsburgh Penguins (-110) O/U 6 7:00 PM on SportsNet Pittsburgh
For the Penguins, two games stand in their way between the playoffs and starting vacation early. The first of two will be tonight as the host the Nashville Predators who have been doing some surging of their own as of late, which has found them in the top Wild Card spot in the West. Their work isn’t done, however, as Vegas is right on their tail.
Alex Nedeljkovic will once again start in net for the Pens, the longest starting streak of any goalie in the NHL this year. Is the tank empty for Ned? It could very well be, but the Penguins need him for two more games. Even with the possibility of playing with a tired goalie, I like the Pens to win tonight over the Preds.

I am way too young to remember the Pirates/Mets rivalry of the 80’s and early 90’s. Being born in 1992, I missed all that fun stuff. I never really even knew this rivalry existed until about a decade ago. But these old rivals will relive it tonight as they do battle at Citi Field.
Martin Perez goes again for the Pirates, and he has been excellent this year since coming over from Texas. The Mets have looked better as of late after starting off 0-5 to begin the year. With the way Perez has been pitching, I like the Pirates to win tonight in Queens.

A game the Pirates will surely be paying attention to as the Padres travel to Milwaukee to face the Brewers. San Diego was able to rally last night against the Dodgers on Sunday Night baseball and now have to fly halfway across the country for this game tonight.
The Padres have a bunch more balanced lineup this season after trading Juan Soto to the Yankees, but I don’t think they are still much better. They will have former Pirate Joe Musgrove on the hill tonight and he has struggled to start the year. With inconsistent pitching and a jetlagged team, I like the Brewers to win at home tonight.
