Pitt volleyball punched its ticket to the NCAA women’s volleyball final four Saturday evening, sweeping Kentucky 3-0 at the Petersen Events Center.
The top-seeded Panthers took set one 25-22 before heading into a tough second set in which they trailed 6-1 early and eventually 22-16 before rallying off a 9-1 run to clinch the set. Pitt would then win the third set 25-17.
Pitt will now make its fourth-straight appearance in the NCAA semifinals and will face an ACC foe in either Louisville or Stanford.
