Pine-Richland Lineman Commits to FCS Program

Pine-Richland continues to produce Division I football players, especially on the offensive line, as a 2026 prospect from the school committed to an FCS program.
Braylen Price — a 6-foot-6, 280-pound offensive tackle — announced on Tuesday that he committed to William & Mary over four other D-I offers.
“I am blessed to say I have committed to William & Mary,” Price started in a post on X. “I’m so grateful for the opportunity to continue my athletic and academic career. Thank you to my family, coaches, teammates and everyone else who has helped me in my journey.”

Price recently saw his recruitment pick up in February with his first offer from Bucknell. William & Mary, Albany, Stony Brook and Youngstown State soon followed with scholarship offers.
As a junior this past fall, Price was a member of a Rams team that took home the WPIAL Class 5A Championship over Peters Township at Acrisure Stadium. Price earned second team All-Conference honors.
Pine-Richland boasts a handful of 2026 players with Division I futures. Price joins defensive back Lawrence ‘Jay’ Timmons (Indiana) as the second Ram to make a verbal pledge this spring. Offensive guard John Curran III holds over 20 offers, while wide receive/defensive back Dajaun Webb holds a few offers as well.
Price will join a William & Mary team out of the Colonial Athletic Association that went 7-5 overall and 4-4 in conference during the 2024 campaign.
William & Mary featured three WPIAL players last season in offensive lineman Greg Klingensmith out of Apollo Ridge, Penn Hills’ Hollis Mathis and Jeannette’s Marcus Barnes.
Barnes earned All-CAA Second Team honors after recording four interceptions, 11 passes defended, two forced fumbles and 69 tackles.
Mathis played a variety of roles during his time at William & Mary at quarterback, receiver and running back. As a senior, he led the team with 52 receptions and 602 receiving yards. He became just the second player in the history of college football to total 1,000 yards passing, receiving and rushing.
Currently on its 2025 roster, Upper St. Clair linebacker Luke Banbury is the lone WPIAL representative.
