On Wednesday, Pitt commits Carlton Carrington and Marlon Barnes Jr. made their commitments to Pitt official by signing with the program.
Pitt commit Jaland Lowe is scheduled to sign with Pitt on Friday at noon ET in Houston, Texas.
Carrington, a four-star guard out of Baltimore, Maryland committed to Pitt back in June after taking an official visit to check out the campus and facilities. The 6-foot-4 standout plays for St. Frances Academy in Baltimore and also shined for Team Melo on the Nike EYBL circuit throughout the summer.
Barnes is a 6-foot-6 wing out of Cleveland, Ohio, who plays for Brush High School, the same school that Pitt star John Hugley dominated at several years ago. Barnes was the first recruit in the 2023 class to pledge his verbal commitment to the Panthers, doing so back in January 2022.
According to 247 Sports, Pitt currently owns the No. 21 recruiting class in the nation for 2023, and the No. 2 class in the ACC, behind only No. 1 the overall class heading to Duke.
