Die-Hards: Pitt 2020 Recruiting Entering Stretch Run for Jeff Capel

Published

on

It’s an important weekend for Jeff Capel’s program as they will try and put an end to this losing skid and also host a potential member of their Class of 2020.

Pitt (15-12, 6-10), currently on a 3-game losing streak, will host Virginia (18-7, 10-5) tomorrow afternoon at The Pete. The Panthers have four regular season games remaining and would like to take some positive momentum heading into the off-season.

Remaining games on the schedule include Virginia, hosting Syracuse and then two road trips at NC State and at Georgia Tech. The way things currently stand in the conference, Pitt would take on Miami in the 1st round of the ACC Tournament.

While Capel is trying to finish the 2019-20 season as strong as possible, he also has an eye on his roster for next season. With John Hugley, Noah Collier and Max Amadasun in their Class of 2020, Pitt could add at two more players.

Here’s two likely candidates and why they could be adding more.
