A big theme to Pitt’s Class of 2021 is the success they’ve had in winning recruiting battles for most of the top players in the WPIAL.
Aside from not being in contention for Peters Township safety Donovan McMillan, who committed to Florida, the Pitt staff have hit a home run with all their top targets.

Pitt has received commitments from their top three WPIAL targets: West Mifflin 4-star DE Nahki Johnson, Central Catholic 4-star DT Elliot Donald and Baldwin 3-star DT Dorien Ford along with also adding Central Valley safety Stephon Hall.
With as many as five spots left in this year’s class, Pitt isn’t finished trying to add hometown talent, either. The Panthers staff continues to do everything they can to try and land the biggest recruit from the area, Gateway 4-star athlete Derrick Davis, who will make his college decision in November.
Pitt is also looking ahead to future recruiting classes. Perry defensive end Tyreese Fearbry and Central Valley’s Sean FitzSimmons became the third and fourth WPIAL juniors to receive early offers from Pitt.
Just to keep you updated, here are the uncommitted WPIAL players that currently have offers from Pat Narduzzi and Pitt. The two players in the Class of 2023 are obvious huge priorities as they’ve already become national recruits.
