All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each of the 105 members of Pitt’s 2021 training camp roster.
57 • Gabe Houy, redshirt senior offensive tackle
Last year: Made eight starts in nine games in his second season as a starter.
Stats: Has made 15 starts in 27 games played since redshirting as a freshman in 2017.
Camp outlook: For an offensive line that has struggled as of late and has lost Jimmy Morrissey and Bryce Hargrove, it is refreshing to have experienced guys like Houy and Carter Warren at tackle and gain a talent like Marcus Minor, who will join as a graduate transfer from Maryland.
Projected role: The 6-foot-6, 325-pound Upper St. Clair product should retain his spot at starting right tackle for 2021.
Accolades, Highlights: Houy was named to the All-ACC Academic Football Team in 2020 and was rated the number 18 overall prospect in Pennsylvania by ESPN coming out of high school.
