Pitt Contacts Citadel Transfer Hayden Brown

Jeff Capel and his staff remain busy in the portal, making initial contact with potential transfer options daily.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that the Panthers have reached out to Citadel transfer Hayden Brown, who entered the transfer portal on March 10.
The 6-foot-5 forward was named all-Southern Conference first team player as he averaged 18.8 points and 9.5 rebounds for the Bulldogs.

Brown is one of the best players in Citadel history as he set a program record with 28 career double-doubles and one of just three players with more than 1,300 points and 700 rebounds.
Brown will have one season of athletic eligibility remaining.
In The Citadel’s win over Pitt early this season, Brown tallied 19 points and 7 rebounds.
