Recruits Visiting Pitt For Season Opener Against Wofford

Published

on

Unlike last year’s marketable season opener against rival West Virginia, the Pitt Panthers will open up the 2023 season against a lesser opponent in Wofford. But to Pitt’s credit, this will be the only “unattractive” home game on the schedule.

Regardless of the opponent, Saturday is the season opener so it’s an event in and of itself. And as is the case with every home game, the Pitt staff will be hosting high school recruits on visits.

Pitt has a large group of commits in its class of 2024, but Pat Narduzzi and the coaching staff are still looking for the first 2025 commit in the class. There will be 2024 recruits in attendance this season, but recruits in the class of 2025, 2026 and 2027 — and maybe even beyond — will begin to bond with the coaching staff.

Pittsburgh Sports Now is keeping track of names that we confirm and will keep updating this story through Saturday.

Recruits Attending the Pitt/Wofford Game on Saturday:

*Parker Harden: 2025 3-star OT from Pickerington, Ohio.

*Semaj “Tank” Fuse: 2025 DE/DT from Trinity High School.

*Jayden Price: 2025 DB/WR from Seneca Valley High School.

*Jayden Lindsey: 2025 DB from Bishop Canevin High School.
