Last season, Pitt was one of the best teams in NCAA basketball against the spread, going 24-12 ATS.

The Panthers, after opening the season 1-4 against the spread, then went on a tremendous run, covering ten games in a row. That run included five spreads in double-digits that the Panthers overcame to win. In addition, as ten-point underdogs against NC State, the Panthers went into Raleigh and took home their first ACC win of the year outright. Against Virginia and North Carolina, Pitt covered both spreads and cashed in on the moneyline as well with outright victories.

Let’s look ahead to Pitt’s betting outlook for next season. As more odds are released closer to the season, PSN will update Pitt’s betting odds for the 2023-24 season.

The odds are better they’ll shoot fifty 3-point shots ten feet past the line this season than making the elite8. Five guys standing around the 3-point line with one penetrator dishing out to one of the other 4 may Win games but is not all that entertaining. Increasing offensive rebounding % off a missed 3-point shot would be appreciated if you are going to rely upon that as your offense.
