For the second time in the last week, the Pitt football program extends an offer to a WPIAL freshman.
On Saturday while on a gameday visit, the Panthers offered 2027 Shadyside Academy athlete Carter Bonner. Tonight, the Panthers staff offered 2027 defensive back Khalil Taylor from Seton LaSalle High School.
These offers were firsts for both players. For Bonner, it was first D-1 offer, while for Taylor, it was his first Power Five offer. The talented defensive back previously received ones from UNLV and Akron.
The offer to Taylor came from Pitt safety coach and local recruiter Cory Sanders.
