Die-Hards: Pitt Taking Home Visit With 2024 West Coast Tight End

Even with Gavin Bartholomew and Karter Johnson scheduled to return in 2024, the future of the Pitt tight ends room is uncertain. That’s what happens when the last three recruiting classes haven’t landed a tight end.

The class of 2024 initially had a commitment from three-star tight end Eric Ingwerson, but he had since flipped to hometown Nebraska.

Pitt is on the recruiting trails — and has been over the last few days — and one position that has been highlighted both at the high school and the portal level is that tight end position.

A target in the class of 2024 was offered early last month, and Tim Salem will be out visiting him Monday night.
