For the second time today, the Pitt Panthers have extended an offer to an extremely productive wide receiver in the transfer portal.
Pitt wide receivers coach Tiquan Underwood didn’t take any time in extending an offer to Georgia State transfer wide receiver Robert Lewis, one of the top players in the Sun Belt Conference.

The 5-foot-11, 185-pound native of Covington, Ga. has combined for 92 receptions in the last two seasons with Georgia State. In 2022, when he was the No. 2 receiver behind current Louisville wideout Jamari Thrash, Lewis recorded 22 receptions for 379 yards and six touchdowns. Without Thrash this season, Lewis exploded for 70 catches for 877 yards and seven touchdowns.
Underwood and Pitt aren’t the only school to notice his talents as Lewis has also picked up offers from Indiana, Liberty, Cincinnati, Auburn and East Carolina since entering the transfer portal.
Earlier on Monday, Pitt extended an offer to Monmouth standout transfer wide receiver Dymere Miller, who led the FCS in receptions this season.
The number of offers being extended by Pitt to wide receivers is a bit of a surprise and could be a sign that some wideouts currently on the roster could be deciding to transfer.
