Die-Hards: Pitt Football Isn’t Done Adding, What’s Up Next?

Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi.

Pitt secured all 19 verbal commits in its class of 2024 yesterday, a major win for Pat Narduzzi and the coaching staff, and there are some transfer portal commitments that will be officially announced in the coming days and weeks.

It’s been a very nice start to the offseason for Pitt, but there’s still a long way to go this offseason.

“Just kind of give you a breakdown of what we’ve got in,” Narduzzi said Wednesday at his National Signing Day press conference. “We’ve got eight on offense, five linemen, a receiver, a quarterback, and a running back. Still probably — I know Peak’s gonna ask me, are you done yet? We’re not done yet. We’ve got 11 signees on defense, five D-linemen, three linebackers, two corners and a safety.”

I wouldn’t be surprised by an addition in the coming days (even with the acquisition of Lyndon Cooper), but I don’t think that’s what Narduzzi was talking about. There will be additional moves, in and out, in the coming days and weeks. And I don’t think it will be just transfer portal moves either.
