On Friday afternoon, Pitt head coach Jeff Capel addressed the media, including Pittsburgh Sports Now, ahead of Pitt’s game against Notre Dame on Saturday night.
Capel spoke about William Jeffress and his impact on the team, his injury last year, and his high-school recruitment. He also touched on Notre Dame’s team this year, as well as the 2009 Pitt team, his Oklahoma team with Blake Griffin, and more in the press conference.
In addition, guard Ishmael Leggett also spoke with the media, talking about his transition from the Atlantic 10 to the ACC, as well as his impressions of the young guards on Pitt’s team and his relationship with former Pitt player Sam Young.
