Robert Morris Guard Josh Corbin Enters Portal as Grad Transfer

The transfer portal officially opened at midnight Monday morning, thus springing the mass exodus of players from programs looking for new opportunities.

Robert Morris senior guard Josh Corbin has entered his name into the portal, according to Verbal Commits. Corbin spent two seasons at RMU after transferring from Winthrop.

One of RMU’s best three-point shooters, Corbin drained 36.5% of his shots from behind the arc (87 made threes in 2023-24) and started all but one of the 62 games he played in a Colonial uniform. Corbin averaged 13.4 points, 3.1 rebounds, and shot 37.5% from the floor in 29 contests. He has one year of eligibility remaining.

The 6-foot-3 native of Gahanna, Ohio was RMU’s active leading scorer (640 points) when he returned to Andy Toole’s squad last season (345 at Robert Morris). The young and transfer-heavy Colonials finished 10-22 overall and 6-14 in Horizon League play.

Robert Morris lost former starting forward Stephon Walker to the transfer portal earlier in the day. For all the latest transfer news on Pitt, Duquesne, Robert Morris, West Virginia, and Penn State, stay tuned to The Portal Report’s continuing coverage of players entering the portal and finding new homes.
