Published

on

This week, Robert Morris hosted a transfer visitor coming from the Division II level.

The Colonials hosted Wes Enis, a 6-foot-2 guard out of Lincoln Memorial University. Enis joined Lincoln Memorial at the semester break, playing his first game for the team on December 30, 2024 and dropping 19 points and four assists. The Conover, Ohio native excelled for the team throughout the rest of the season, starting 19 games and playing in 22 games overall.

He finished the year averaging 17.9 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 2.5 assists per game for Lincoln Memorial. He hit 84 of his 100 free throws for an even 84% percentage from the line. Enis shot 44% from the field and 36% from three-point range throughout the season, making 60 of his 166 three-point tries. Enis played his AAU ball for Team Wildcat, coached by Will Homan.

Since entering the portal, Enis has heard from schools such as Ball State, Youngstown State, Indiana State, Northern Kentucky, Winthrop, and others. PSN has confirmed that Enis also visited Youngstown State this week. However, Youngstown’s head coach Jarrod Calhoun accepted the Utah State head coaching position on Friday night.

The Colonials have been active in the transfer portal so far, reaching out to more than 25 players so far since the transfer window opened on March 18. RMU has lost four players to the portal this offseason.
