2020 4-star forward John Hugley is getting ready to announce his college choice.
Hugley announced this morning that he will announce his college decision on Friday, October 18th at Brush High School. The announcement will happen at 3:30 PM.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that Hugley has narrowed his choice down to three schools (no order): Pitt, NC State and Kansas State. Schools that were eliminated from consideration were Miami (FL), Penn State, Florida State, West Virginia, UConn, Florida, Nebraska, Missouri and Cincinnati.
Hugley just completed an official visit to Pitt and previously made one to NC State. We’re working to learn if he plans on making one to Kansas State within the next two weeks. As we reported prior to Hugley’s visit to Pitt, Jeff Capel would likely have a discussion with him regarding the timeline of his decision.
Hugley (6’8″, 240) is someone Jeff Capel and his brother Jason have recruited hard for the past year and would fill a major need in the front court for Pitt.
