Pitt FB Recruiting

Key Upcoming Week For Narduzzi

One week from today, Pat Narduzzi and his staff will be hosting some major talent for their 2nd Junior Day.  The word MAJOR may not be a strong enough word.

The Pitt coaches will have an opportunity to make an impression on some of the top talent in the country.  4 and 5 star players and kids with offers from premier programs like Notre Dame, Ohio State, Penn State, Michigan, etc will take in the “Pitt Experience.”

Here are some of the higher profile recruits that I’ve confirmed will be attending Pitt next weekend:

*David Adams, 4-star LB  (Central Catholic)……Adams picked up an offer today from Michigan

*Ellis Brooks, 4-star LB (Virginia)……Picked up offers this week from Georgia and Notre Dame

*Matt McKay, 3-star QB (Raleigh)…..Will be visiting Pitt, Va Tech and NC State next week

*Derrius Mullins, 3-star DT (Columbus, Ohio)…

*Michael Miranda, 3-star OG (Stow, Ohio)…..Has 12 offers including 2 this week from Vanderbilt and Iowa State

*Mekhi Becton, 3-star OT (Highland Springs, Va)…….Massive lineman (6-7, 310)…

*Tyree Johnson, 3-star DE (Washington, DC)…….Offers from Mississippi, North Carolina, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Virginia Tech

*Paris Ford, 4-star DB (Steel Valley)……..Pitt 2017 Commitment

*Charles Reeves, 3-star WR/TE (Steubenville, Ohio)…

*Jaylen Twyman, 3-star DT (Washington DC)…….I believe that Pitt is a top contender for Twyman….He’s a big fan of the coaching staff and of Aaron Donald

*Tim Terry, 3-star LB (Central Catholic)….

*Quran Hafiz, a 3-star DB from Jacksonville Florida, told me tonight that he’s coming to Pittsburgh for Junior Day

I will be adding to throughout the next couple days

UPDATE (9:10 AM)

**Joel Honigford, a 3-star OT from Sugar Creek, Ohio.  Honigford was a hot recruit last week receiving offers from Penn State, Michigan State, West Virginia and Rutgers

**Matt Sichterman, a 3-star OT from King Mills, Ohio.  He received offers last week from West Virginia, Rutgers, Illinois and Cincinnati

UPDATE (9:20 AM)

**Central Catholic DT Kurt Hinish won’t be attending.  He tells me that he’s going to be going to his sisters track meet at Penn State.

**Clairton CB Lamont Wade isn’t sure yet if he’s going to attend. The 5-star corner might be in Canada playing in a 7 on 7 tournament .
