Position Change for Damar Hamlin?

Published

on

If Pitt hopes to contend for the ACC Coastal Division championship, a must will be fixing the team’s secondary.

From the look of things, Pat Narduzzi and Josh Conklin will be relying on some young but very talented players to lead the change.

Could there also be a big position change in that secondary?

Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that there’s a good chance that sophomore Damar Hamlin could be changing positions this fall.

A source tells PSN that the former 4-star recruit could be changing from cornerback to boundary safety.

From what I understand, the plan is to put Hamlin and Jordan Whitehead at the safety positions. The coaches believe that this will be an excellent fit for Hamlin.

If this position change goes through, Therran Coleman, Henry Miller and Dane Jackson will battle for the cornerback spot opposite senior Avonte Maddox.
