Keith Dambrot on ESPN’s First Take to Talk Lebron James

Duquesne basketball head coach Keith Dambrot joined ESPN’s First Take to talk Lebron James and the NBA Finals this morning.

Dambrot, who coached Lebron James for two seasons at St. Vincent-St. Mary High School in Akron, remained close with Lebron throughout his coaching stint at Akron and their relationship helped build Akron into a Mid-American Conference power.

Dambrot’s time on the show was exclusively dedicated to talking Lebron, but his appearance should be a good reminder to Duquesne basketball fans that their new coach is on a completely different level than they’re used to when it comes to national recognition. And the relationship with Lebron (which includes a deal to wear Lebron’s Nike brand gear) and appearing on a high-profile ESPN show certainly won’t hurt when it comes to recruiting.
