Pitt junior wide receiver Taysir Mack’s strong start to the 2019 season has been noticed.
It was announced Wednesday morning that Mack was added to the watch list for the Biletnikoff Award which is awarded to college football’s top FBS receiver regardless of position.
Mack has been Pitt’s top offensive playmaker this season as he currently ranks 6th nationally in catches (41), 13th in receiving yards (511) and is on pace to become the Panthers top 1,000 yard receiver since Tyler Boyd in 2014.
The Biletnikoff Award winner is announced on December 12 during ESPN’s College Football Awards telecast in Atlanta.
Pitt has two Biletnikoff winners in the history of their program: Antonio Bryant in 2000 and Larry Fitzgerald in 2003.
