Published

As you look ahead to local football programs that are trending upward, Central Valley would qualify.

Head coach Mark Lyons program is coming off winning the Class-3A WPIAL Championship and making to PIAA Finals where they lost to Wyoming Area in heartbreaking fashion.

The good news for Central Valley football is that the future is bright as the roster is filled with a bunch of talented underclassman.

Because of that talent, many Division I coaches over the last month have made their way to Beaver County to talk with Lyons about many different players on his roster such as Stephon Hall, Ameer Dudley, Myles Walker, Sean FitzSimmons, Jayvin Thompson and others.

Pittsburgh Sports Now had a chance to talk with Lyons about the bright future of his program, the  conversation when coaches stop by, Pitt target Stephon Hall, his opinion on the WPIAL realignment and more.
