Au’Diese Toney announced last week that he would be leaving the Pitt program to pursue other opportunities. Just a few days after the announcement, he is already receiving lots of high major division one interest.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has learned that Toney has heard from Texas A&M, Arkansas, Georgia, Tennessee, Arizona, Providence, Vanderbilt, Connecticut, Wisconsin, Iowa State, Washington State, Seton Hall, Florida, Ole Miss, Western Kentucky, Missouri, Wichita State, Cincinnati, South Florida, UAB, Charlotte, East Carolina, and University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
A representative of the Toney family tells PSN that Au’Diese does not have any zoom interviews scheduled at this time with any programs.
ESPN’s Jeff Borzello was the first to report this list of schools, which has since been confirmed to Pittsburgh Sports Now.
Toney is originally from Jasper, Alabama and was a four-star prospect coming out of high school. Before ultimately choosing Pitt, the 6-foot-6 wing was deciding between Virginia Tech, Charlotte, Connecticut, and East Carolina, three of which are again pursuing him.
