More encouraging recruiting news for Pat Narduzzi’s program.
2022 3-star wide receiver Marcus Peterson (6’4”, 200) has received 30+ offers and has decided to narrow those down to focus on six teams.
The native of Lake City, Florida has announced a top six of Pitt, Central Florida, Cincinnati, Florida State, Miami and Kansas. Other notable programs that also offered Peterson were Arkansas, Georgia, LSU, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland and Iowa State.
Last season at Columbia High School, Peterson caught 19 passes for 286 yards and secen touchdowns, while also carrying the ball 50 times for 205 yards and four touchdowns.
Peterson is being recruited to Pitt by Brennan Marion and previously announced he’d be making an official visit to Pitt on June 3-5.
Pitt is also recruiting two of Peterson’s teammates as they extended offers on Saturday to 2023 linebacker Jaden Robinson and 2023 cornerback Amare Ferrell.
