The Class of 2023 officially went into the spotlight last night at midnight which was when college coaches were officially permitted to reach out to players in this class.
Western Pennsylvania has two of the highest rated juniors in the country with Laurel Highlands 4-star wide receiver Rodney Gallagher and Brashear 4-star linebacker Ta’Mere Robinson. 247 Sports has Gallagher ranked No. 64 and Robinson No. 148 in the Class of 2023.
Both players hold impressive offers lists and will be heavily pursed over the next year by some of the best programs in the country. Obviously, Gallagher and Robinson are names that are very high, if not at the top, of Pitt’s recruiting board for 2023.
At midnight, both Robinson and Gallagher’s phones were busy with calls and messages. We thought it would be interesting to see which were the first schools to contact them when the clock struck midnight.
