Duquesne Offers North Hills Star Sophomore Royce Parham

On Wednesday night, Duquesne extended an offer to one of the best prospects in Western PA regardless of class, Royce Parham.

“It means a lot,” Parham told Pittsburgh Sports Now on Wednesday night. “[I am] blessed to receive it.”

Parham is a 6-foot-7 sophomore forward out of North Hills, who plays everywhere from the three to the five on the court.

Duquesne's 2024 March Madness Tournament coverage is sponsored by Leon's Billiards & More, Moon Golf Club and Archie's on Carson! Their contributions have allowed us to cover the Dukes run in Omaha, Nebraska. We appreciate their support!

“My best strength is my defense,” Parham told PSN in an interview. “I am really good at defense. I can guard one through five. I am a good playmaker, and I am a good finisher. I have a good mid-range shot, but my three-pointer could use some work. I also feel like I will be a great leader for my high school team going forward.”

Parham holds one other offer, from Robert Morris, and has already taken a visit to Pitt. Although it is still early on in his high school career, Parham looks to be a high priority target for all of the local schools.
