Duquesne (7-1) returns to action tonight as they host a talented Marshall (7-1) team, and a key contributor will be returning to the lineup.

Forward Joe Reece will return to the court after being sidelined since November 18 with an ankle injury.

Prior to the injury, the Bowling Green transfer was averaging 6 points and 3.8 rebounds in 14.3 minutes per game.

Reece was a member of Duquesne’s starting lineup but it’s unsure if he’ll immediately return to that role or if Keith Dambrot will have him come off the bench until he returns to game shape.

Getting the 6’8″ forward back is important for the Dukes as they add another forward to their front court, which will help them offensively but more importantly, Reece will help on the glass. Rebounding, both offensively and defensively, has been something Duquesne has struggled with the last few games.

While Reece returns, forward R.J. Gunn (foot) and Kevin Easley (suspension) will still be sidelined.

Duquesne enters tonight’s game on a 6-game winning streak and is currently ranked No. 114 ranked in the KenPom Ratings. After losing their opening game to Queens University, Marshall has won 7 straight and is ranked No. 102 in the Ken Pom Ratings.
