PITTSBURGH — The wide receivers and the defensive linemen are some of the most intriguing players on the roster right now because of the battles going on in those position rooms, and Charlie Partridge and Tiquan Underwood spoke to the media about their position groups after today’s practice at the UPMC Rooney Sports Complex.

Braylan Lovelace, who has emerged as a true freshman, also spoke to the media about his growth throughout the summer and his thoughts on his collegiate career finally kicking off in just over two weeks.

Braylan Lovelace is really mature for being a Freshman. What a good, intelligent, kid. I’m definitely looking forward to watching him play. He will, no doubt, be a team captain/leader earlier than most.
