Pitt/Cincinnati Gameday Notebook: September 9

Prior to the season, the Pitt Panthers non-conference schedule was voted the toughest amongst all Power Five teams. Today’s matchup is one of the reasons why as they host Scott Satterfield and the Cincinnati Bearcats.

Kickoff from Acrisure Stadium is set for 6:30 PM. Oddsmakers currently have Pitt has 6.5-point favorites.

PSN will have you covered today as Karl Ludwig, Dom Campbell, David Hague and Mike Vukovcan will be at this interesting Week 2 matchup in order to provide you with the most in-depth Pitt coverage in town.

Update (2:20 PM)-

**2026 athlete Owen Pollock from Big Walnut High School in Sunbury, Ohio will be in Pittsburgh for the Pitt-Cincinnati game this evening. Pollock (6-foot-4, 215 pounds) previously attended a Pitt Elite II camp in June and visited a spring practice in April.

He has not received an offer from Pitt, but it’s clear the sophomore is firmly on the radar.

**Pitt will be receiving a visit today from 2025 3-star wide receiver Michael Scott from Dallastown High School in York, Pennsylvania. Scott is the former teammate of current Pitt freshman wide receiver Kenny Johnson. Scott (5’9″, 160-pounds) holds offers from Cincinnati, Maryland, Temple, Toledo and West Virginia.

Update (9:52 AM)- 

**Pitt will receive a visit today from 2025 3-star OL Kage Payne from Kings Mills, Ohio. Payne (6’3” 280) holds offers from Arkansas State, Bowling Green, Coastal Carolina, Florida Atlantic, James Madison, UMass, Memphis, Miami (OH), Ohio and Toledo.


Update (9:22 AM)- 

**Pitt 2024 3-star TE commit Eric Ingwerson will be in town tonight for tonight’s Pitt/Cincinnati matchup.

**Pitt will receive a visit today from 2025 wide receiver/defensive back Nate Lyman from Cincinnati, Ohio. Currently, Lyman holds an offer from UMass.
