Die-Hards: Pat Narduzzi Has No Other Choice But to Make a Change on Offense

The next two weeks will no doubt be difficult for the Pitt football program as they’re on their bye week before returning home on October 14th to take on Louisville.

Instead of entering this week of recruiting on a positive, Pat Narduzzi’s program sits at 1-4 with serious question marks as to how many wins they’ll be able the rest of the way.

The bottom line is that Pitt’s struggles in 2023 come down to two factors: poor play at quarterback and as equally as bad job being done by offensive coordinator Frank Cignetti, Jr.

We know that Phil Jurkovec won’t be returning in 2024 and with the job poor job he’s done since being hired last year, it’s becoming impossible to imagine a scenario in which Cignetti returns.
