More recruits continue to announce that they’ll be attending the Pitt/Louisville game on Saturday night.

Previously, Pittsburgh Sports Now has been telling you about young uncommitted WPIAL players that are making gameday visits but now we have something different.

Pitt 2024 3-star defensive tackle Francis Brewu,  from Thomas Worthington High in Worthington, Ohio, says he’ll be making a return visit to Pitt this weekend.

This is good and important news for Pitt because despite his longstanding commitment to Pitt, Power Five teams continue to pursue Brewu.

Since committing to Pitt in March, Brewu has picked up offers from Wisconsin, Michigan State and Miami, Florida. Prior to Mel Tucker’s firing, the 6-foot-2, 270-pound defensive tackle made a gameday visit to Michigan State in September.

When contacted by PSN, Brewu has always maintained his commitment to Pitt but with the continual interest he’s receiving, it’s a good thing for Pitt to get him back in town and around the program.

Brewu is part of a large and talented defensive line group in the class of 2024 that includes four-star defensive tackles Jahsear Whittington and Sincere Edwards, three-star defensive ends Zachary Crothers and Ty Yuhas.
