WATCH: Pitt HC Pat Narduzzi Previews Season Finale Against Duke

PITTSBURGH — Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi and his team are coming off of a their first win in more than a month, as they defeated Boston College at home on Senior Night last Thursday.

Narduzzi spoke to members of the media Monday afternoon at UPMC Rooney Sports Complex and previewed the season finale against Duke on the road on Saturday. He spoke on Senior Night, what Pitt did well in the win, the status of injured players and how redshirt sophomore quarterback Nate Yarnell did in his first start of the season. He also complimented Duke head coach Mike Elko and the culture he has built with the program.

Pitt administration are utterly foolish to keep Nardazzi another year. Let’s see how this works out 😂

I can’t see getting rid of him at this point. Maybe if 1 or 2 more sub .500 seasons, you can pull the plug. I know loads of fans don’t like him but truthfully, over the last 40+ years (starting with Foge’s 3rd season), Narduzzi has been the most “successful”. He is the only one with 11 wins, one of only 3 coaches with 9 wins and the most seasons (3x) with 8 wins. A conf title and some good player development and NFL draftees.
