The 2023 Pitt football has thankfully come to a close following a season-ending loss at Duke.
Pitt finishes the season with a record of 3-9, their worst record during the Pat Narduzzi era and their fewest win total since 1998, when they finished with just 2 wins.
The offseason officially starts now for Pitt, and it could be active in terms of portal activity and coaching changes.
Mike: Pitt finishes with a record of 3 – 9, not 3 – 8 as stated in the article.
Pretty lousy Punting in the 1st Half was a contributing factor in the Loss.
Horrible punter performance ALL season. The 15-yard punt from the end-zone yesterday was the turning point of the game. So sad the coaches have let this crap go on for so long.
“In reality, it’s up to Pitt fans to make the difference. Donate to @Alliance_412”
Yes. That will stop NarDog from his stupid use of timeouts, bad clock management, and terrible in-game strategies.
It addition, it will stop players from making idiotic penalties.
Does Pitt need a NIL program in place? Sure. But let’s start with some basic truths before you start asking for some more money, Bro.
“In reality, it’s up to Pitt fans to make the difference. Donate to @Alliance_412” – Have the coach show he’s willing to make the changes necessary to succeed, then my wallet will talk.
Need new head coach period. Way over his head. Does anyone really think we could be a top program with him at the helm.
Only necessary coaching changes are OC and O-line. I don’t think the loss of players to the portal will be too bad. I’m wary about the players Duzzi will bring in from the portal because he has shown that he will give them opportunities over the other, arguably more deserving players.
My biggest concern is that even though everyone know Yarnell is the guy, Narduzzi will give Veilleux the starting job due to Narduzzi being too proud to admit he was wrong
