A former Pitt Panther standout had a huge moment in his professional career.
Denver Broncos tight end Lucas Krull caught his first touchdown in the NFL. Krull’s catch came in the 4th quarter on a 4-yard pass from Russell Wilson.
This is Krull’s second season in the NFL after spending the 2022 season with the New Orleans Saints, where he signed as an undrafted free agent.
In his senior season at Pitt after transferring from Florida, Krull earned 2nd team All-ACC honors. In 11 games, Krull caught 38 passes for 451 yards and six touchdowns.
