Die-Hards: 2025 Pittsburgh Native Amari Evans Talks Overtime Elite, Pitt Visit

One of Pittsburgh’s own has become a top-100 prospect in the 2025 class.

You’ve heard of Meleek Thomas. But now, another top 2025 player from the Steel City is on Pitt’s radar as well. Amari Evans is a 6-foot-5 guard out of Overtime Elite who began his high-school career at Bishop Canevin.

Evans, a friend of Thomas’, recently earned an offer from the Panthers’ staff. Shortly after, Jeff and Jason Capel invited him out for an unofficial visit while he was home over the holidays.
