Tyreek Robinson had hoped to pick up a few more offers during his senior season at Evangel Christian Academy, but when those offers failed to materialize, he had to face the facts. Maybe it was time to just accept what was.
Robinson held offers from Central Michigan, Southeastern Louisiana, Texas State and Utah, and while he had hoped to lock in and really grind during his senior season in northern Louisiana (which he did, to the tune of 800 yards and 16 touchdowns), he had a chance to play college ball in-state. So, he committed to Southeastern.
But then Robinson’s father received a text from a Florida number. And it’s a good thing that the Robinson family listened.
