Lincoln Park’s Five-Star Guard Meleek Thomas Receives Two More SEC Offers

Published

Meleek Thomas is one of the best prospects in the 2025 class across the entire country.

The Lincoln Park guard has dominated WPIAL play throughout his career and is going through a recruitment process loaded with blue-blood schools and coaches in the mix. On Friday, he announced that he has now added an offer from Arkansas and head coach John Calipari. This comes just weeks after Calipari took the head coaching job with the Razorbacks, leaving Kentucky.

Thomas also announced that he has received an offer from Ole Miss on Friday as well, shortly after.

Thomas released a top-12 schools list back in September, including the following programs: Duke, Kentucky, Indiana, Kansas, Kansas State, Miami, Villanova, Pitt, Tennessee, UConn, Michigan, and Auburn. Since that list was released, he has taken visits to Pitt, Auburn, and Kentucky.

Thomas recently partnered with Roc Nation Sports, founded by Jay-Z, for his NIL representation. Thomas won back-to-back WPIAL and PIAA titles this season as a sophomore, averaging 22.7 points and 10.2 rebounds per game.

If he were to join the Panthers, he would be reuniting with his high-school teammate Brandin Cummings, who joins the Panthers backcourt this year along with Jaland Lowe and Ishmael Leggett.
