Film Session: Three Key Stats for Pitt in 2024-25

Throughout the day, I looked into a few Pitt players and watched some film from the past couple of years.
The four players I keyed in on were Cam Corhen, Damian Dunn, Ishmael Leggett, and Guillermo Diaz Graham.
With Diaz Graham, I found that he hit 22 of his 55 three-point attempts in pick-and-roll (in this case, pick-and-pop) situations.

Pitt’s Guillermo Diaz Graham was 22-for-55 (40%) on pick-and-pop threes as a sophomore.

With Dunn, I looked at some of his tape from 2022-23 at Temple. That year, he went 40 for 102 from downtown on catch-and-shoot three-point tries.

Pitt’s Damian Dunn went 40-102 (39.2%) on catch-and-shoot three-point attempts at Temple in 2022-23.

With Leggett, the numbers that stood out were his inside scoring numbers. He was 32 for 67 on two-point attempts when running the pick and roll a season ago.

Pitt’s Ishmael Leggett was 32-for-67 (48%) on two-point field goals as the ball-handler in pick and roll situations last season.

With Corhen, I grabbed some film of him rolling, slipping, and cutting to the basket. He will pose a unique threat to defenses in the P&R that we haven’t seen at Pitt in years (and, they’re saying he can step out and shoot it well, too).
