One thing is for sure, the visitors list of recruits for Pitt’s game against Clemson on Saturday will be its most impressive of the season. Pittsburgh Sports Now will publish a list of confirmed Pitt recruiting visitors later on Friday as we work to learn more names. One player that we can tell you about is 2026 3-star cornerback AJ Marks from IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida.
Looking over his tape, this is a player with a ton of skill and potential. At this point of this recruitment, the 5-foot-10 cornerback holds Power 4 offers from Pitt, Kansas, Louisville, Maryland, Michigan State, Penn State, Tennessee, Wake Forest and West Virginia. Rivals.com rates him as one of the Top 30 cornerbacks in the country.

PSN has been letting you know of the recruits who plan on attending on Saturday for the big matchup against Clemson. We anticipate it being a mix of current 2025 Pitt commitments, 2026 recruits with offers but also players that could be receiving an offer from Pitt soon.
On Thursday, we had the chance to talk with Marks to get his thoughts on his trip to Pittsburgh, which will be his fourth overall visit to Pitt.
“I have a great relationship with Pitt. I’ve been there 3 times and have met Coach Narduzzi and the staff,” said Marks. “I’ve developed a great relationship with Coach Archie, that’s my guy. We talk and text all the time. But my visit on Saturday will be my first Pitt Game. It will be good to see the game day vibe and talk to the coaches.”
Marks is originally a native of Michigan before transferring down to the football academy in Florida and that’s where his relationship with Collins and Pitt started.
“My first communication with Pitt was during my freshman season at Orchard Lake St Mary’s High School in Michigan. I met Coach Archie, and we have been in contact ever since. He offered me my freshman year and I camped there in the summer. Coach Archie is a great coach that develops great Dbs. He checks on me all the time and we trust him.”
“As a player, I’m a complete defensive back,” said Marks. “I can play anywhere in the secondary and I can cover and tackle. I can play man or zone. I started every game this season for IMG. I’ve started at Cornerback, Nickel and Free Safety. I’m smart, I understand coverages and I play with speed, fearlessness and nobody outworks me. I also return punts/kicks and can play slot WR. I make plays. My strengths are that I’m smart, tough, physical, fast and I’m always going to be in the right spot.
With his junior season just about wrapped up, Marks tells me at this point, he doesn’t have any timeline in mind to make a decision on his college choice but did say this visit to Pitt could be a factor and would definitely be in his Top Five.
“This is a very important visit to Pitt. They say your junior season is the most important and I balled out. I’ve put together great film, and my junior season is complete. Now it’s time to find the school that fits me and can develop me best. On this visit, my dad and I will know where I’m at with Pitt.”
