Pitt’s women’s soccer program has certainly risen to the top of the college soccer world within the last two years, and is starting off this year on the right foot once again.
After being unranked in the first week of the United Coaches Poll, this week, the Panthers came in at No. 20 in the nation. Pitt is 4-0 this season with wins over Tulsa, Oklahoma State, Cleveland State, and NJIT.
To no one’s surprise, Amanda West is leading the squad in goals (4) and points (10). West will look to lead the Panthers and continue the hot start in the team’s next matchup against Saint Joseph’s on Thursday.
