In case you missed it, here’s our conversation with Sibley from Wednesday.

**I talked with Fairmont, West Virginia DT/DE Darius Stills who told me that he plans on making an upcoming visit to Pitt and also plans on participating in their summer football camp.

Stills (6-3, 270) is a 3-star recruit who’s hoping to impress the Pitt coaches and land an offer from the Panthers.

“I want to visit Pitt because their close to home.  I’ve been to Pittsburgh before a few times so I feel comfortable around there.  I’m hoping to get an offer from Pitt, it would mean a lot because it’s close to home and it would be good for my family to come watch me play”, said Stills.

Many Pitt fans are probably familiar with a member of Stills family.   His father is former West Virginia star pass rusher Gary Stills.   We’ll continue to follow Darius and see if Pitt comes through with an offer.

UPDATE (11:01 AM)-

**Central Catholic 2018 DE David Green received an offer from West Virginia.   This is Green’s 3rd offer.

UPDATE (6:22 PM)-
**Just talked with Todd Sibley about his visit to Pitt today and by all accounts, looks like a good day for Pitt.

“I would rate my visit as a 10 out of 10.  I was impressed with everything!! From the coaches, to the facilities to the campus itself”, said Sibley.

“We took a tour of the entire campus and I also had a couple minutes to break down film with Coach Powell and it was great.  Finally, my dad and I sat down with Coach Narduzzi and talk with him.”

I asked Sibley what stood out to him about the trip?

“The academic part of Pitt really stood out to me! The classrooms had some of the best designs that I’ve ever seen. I was blown away by the academic part of Pitt.”

Getting to spend the day with Coach Narduzzi, give me your impression of him.

“Coach Narduzzi is a great coach and an even better person! I learned that today by just talking with him. Most coaches only care about winning and doing whatever is possible to win but Coach Narduzzi actually cares about the family and team aspects of football.  We just talked about how Pitt is a great program and how he is connected with my high school coach (went to same high in Ohio and both went to Youngstown State).”

Now that this is over with, what is your next step with Pitt and any other visits that you might take?

“My next step right now is definitely keeping Pitt in mind! I plan on coming back down and hopefully making it to a game. As far as other schools, I’m still looking around and hoping to see schools soon.”

What was your fathers impression of Pitt?

“My dad was completely blown away by Pitt! He still can’t stop talking about it.”
