Let’s get right into the PSN Daily Notebook.

UPDATE (4:30 PM)-
** Pitt had a busy day today at Stafford HS in Virginia. Aside from offering 4-star OT Nava Asiedu, they also offered his teammate sophomore 2019 running back Devyn Ford. The 4-star back already holds offers from most of the major schools in the country, such as Clemson, Auburn, Michigan State, Stanford, Ohio State, Notre Dame, and Penn State.

UPDATE (3:24 PM)-
**The Pitt coaching staff has offered an elite prospect from the Class of 2018. Nava Asiedu an offensive tackle from Stafford, Virginia picked up an offer today from Pitt. Asiedu (6-6, 260) is rated as a 4-star offensive tackle and holds offers from schools like Alabama, Auburn, Clemson, Georgia and Virginia Tech.

UPDATE (11:51 AM)-
Look who the nation’s leader in total yards is.

UPDATE (10:40 AM)-
** Big news from Pitt practice this morning as Alan Saunders reports that cornerback Damar Hamlin was a full participant in the media portion of Pitt practice .

UPDATE (9:53 AM)-
** The million dollar question is will Pat Narduzzi decide to burn the redshirt year of a true freshman in an attempt to improve his secondary. I’m going to say he will and wouldn’t be surprised to see cornerback Therran Coleman on the field Saturday night.

** Kevin Stallings and Pitt will be hosting a visitor this weekend.  Shooting guard Marcus Carr (Montverde Academy in Florida) will make an official visit to Oakland.  Carr (6-2, 170) is rated as a 3-star player with offers from Baylor, Cincinnati, Minnesota, Missouri, Rhode Island, Vanderbilt and Virginia Tech. I think there’s a really good chance that Pitt lands him.

** More Pitt hoop news, Ohio center Sterling Manley continues to be one of the hottest recruits in the country. Yesterday, North Carolina head coach Roy Williams visited him and ended up extending him an offer. Pitt is recruiting him hard but has a ton of competition for the talented big man.
