However, one of those players also decided to make a visit to Pitt’s South Side facility yesterday.

Belle Vernon offensive tackle Blake Zubovic spent part of the day with the Pitt coaching staff including head coach Pat Narduzzi. Zubovic becomes one of if not the first recruit to visit the Panthers post 2017 Signing Day.

Following his visit, I had a chance to briefly catch up with Zubovic to get his reaction.

“I started from getting a tour of the football facility which included the weight room, locker room and the recover/medical facilities with Coach Junko and Coach Diethorn,” said Zubovic.

“After that I sat down and talked with Coach Peterson, Coach Watson and Coach Narduzzi. We talked about how they run things and about me and the whole recruiting process including their commitment to me as a player as well as campus life as a Pitt player.”

So how did Zubovic feel about his first extensive conversation with the Pitt coaching staff?

“I really thought my first visit was great. All of the coaches were great especially Coach Narduzzi who I can tell is very dedicated to helping his players succeed not only in football but life after football,” said Zubovic.
