Dachon Burke has a new basketball home and it isn’t going to be Pitt.
While on an official visit, Dachon Burke tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that he has given a verbal commitment to Nebraska.
The former Robert Morris guard met with Jeff Capel and was also considering St. John’s but decided to join Nebraska. Burke will have to sit out next season but will have two years of eligibility remaining.
Last season for the Colonials, Burke averaged 17.5 points/game, 5 rebounds and 2 assists per game.
Will this decision have an impact on the 2018 Pitt roster?
Pitt is actively recruiting 2018 guard Xavier Johnson, who is also considering Nebraska. Will Burke’s decision have an impact on Johnson?
