Big Night for Pitt Commit Henry Parrish and A Recruiting Update

Florida running back Henry Parrish’s talent is undeniable and is the reason Pitt is in a dog fight to try and keep him committed to their program.

Parrish held a ton of big offers prior to committing to the Panthers back in June and the interest and offers from other programs hasn’t stopped since. Right now, it appears that Parrish’s decision will come down to Pitt and another ACC program.

Matt Shodell from The Canes Report is reporting that Parrish will be choosing between Pitt and his hometown school Miami. According to the story, whether or not Parrish picks Miami could come down to if they present him with a committable offer, which isn’t the case as of now.

The other interesting note that came from this story is that Parrish has decided that he won’t be committing to any school in December and will instead wait until February.

Parrish’s skills were on display last night as his Columbus team defeated Coral Gables in the opening round of the playoffs, 50-14. As he’s done all season, Parrish led the way as he rushed for 95 yards on 13 carries and 4 touchdown’s. He also caught two passes for 48 yards.

Here were some of Parrish’s highlights:
