Twitter Reaction: The North Carolina Jinx Ends, Pitt Wins In OT

It wasn’t easy but win #7 is in the books for Pitt and they still have a chance to repeat as Coastal Division champions thanks to an overtime win over North Carolina. The win was the Panthers first over the Tar Heels as members of the ACC.
Before the game, it was announced that senior wide receiver Maurice Ffrench would miss the game with an injury but that didn’t prevent the passing game from leading the Panthers to victory. Quarterback Kenny Pickett passed for 359 yards and it was the breakout game for sophomore wide receiver Shocky Jacques-Louis, who finished with 104 yards receiving.
The Pitt fans on Twitter were obviously in a good mood on Twitter following the game.

Pitt wins in OT….Panthers now 12-0 under Pat Narduzzi when they register 5+ sacks. Tonight, 5 sacks. That was one of our “Packer and Durham” “Bark or Bite” questions.

Pitt’s D was not it’s typical dominant self tonight. But it stepped up big when it counted against arguably the best QB that it’s faced all year.
